Hartley's in the 80s presents a selection of photographs by Nigel Saul, from his time at the Brewery while a student.
This is a slim book of photographs that capture a lost world; we see the nuts and bolts of the Brewing process, and in Nigel's portraits of his workmates we sense their casual camaraderie as they look out at us through clouds of steam, against a background of rough ancient walls, shining copper, and the odd broken window.

Tony Doyle, "Alf" Atkinson, Graham Pierce
and Steve Gilpin, from Nigel Saul's collection.
